Interpreter Testing (Spanish) INT001S
Acceptance in the Interpreter Program is based on fluency in English and Spanish. Students are required to demonstrate this fluency through all modes of communication--reading, writing, and speaking--at an on-campus testing session. The test includes short essay questions, reading comprehension, and meeting with the faculty to assess your language skills.
In order to attend the testing session, student must 1) enroll in INT001 and pay the $50 testing fee and 2) submit an application to be in the program (see the interpreter home page for a copy). Information about the testing location will be sent with the confirmation.
No walk-ins will be permitted for testing.
Who Should Attend
Individuals who are fluent in English and Spanish (spoken and written).
Application and Testing Fee
- The program starts each year in September. Testing runs from May - late August.
